Doughty Hanson refocuses on private equity
Doughty Hanson has completed its internal restructuring, moving away from real estate and venture, alongside the creation of a new partnership structure.
The firm will refrain from raising new funds for its real estate or technology ventures business. The current management teams of Real Estate Fund II and Technology Ventures II will stay in place to manage the respective portfolios.
The company's will now focus on its private equity business. Its latest buyout fund, Doughty Hanson Fund V, held a final close on €3bn in May 2007.
