New advisory firm to offer pre-sale advice for UK businesses
Entrepreneur James Caan and corporate financier Paul Herman have launched bluebox, an advisory firm aiming to help UK businesses prepare for sale.
The firm will comprise four separate companies, each with a particular focus: pre-sale planning, pre-exit funding, executive search, and corporate finance.
The company outlined fiscal change, pressure on private equity investors to reduce their portfolios, and the pressure on listed companies to prioritise their core foci as key drivers behind the launch.
James Caan will act as group chairman with Paul Herman as chief executive. Malcolm Murray, board director at BCMS, is managing director of the pre-sale planning unit.
