Adveq promotes six to executive director
Fund-of-funds manager Adveq has announced a wave of promotions worldwide and named Farah Buckley, Richard Damming and Nico Taverna as executive directors in Europe.
Formerly an associate director at Almeida Capital and a director at MVision Private Equity Advisers, Buckley was hired by Adveq in 2012 and was since made head of the firm's London office. She was one of the eight private equity figures to feature in a roundtable hosted by unquote" last November and shared insights on industry challenges, fundraising outlook and deal financing.
Meanwhile, Damming will continue to work out of Adveq's Zurich offices. Specialising in the Benelux and southern European market, he joined the fund-of-funds as senior adviser in March 2011 and was made vice-president in January 2013.
Damming will work alongside Taverna in Zurich. Formerly a professional at Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Partners Group, Taverna was hired by Adveq in 2012 and currently oversees the firm's secondaries business.
In addition to the European appointments, Adveq promoted Daniel Rhoads and Ethan Vogelhut to the same role in its New York office. Matt Ma Chang was promoted to executive director in the Asian offices.
The addition of six new executive directors by Adveq comes exactly one year after four of its professionals were appointed to the role: in January 2015, the Zurich-headquartered firm announced the promotions of Benjamin Alt, Sven Gasser, Sven Kupferschmid and Hagen Raab.
