
Palamon appoints new MD

Palamon Capital Partners has hired John David as managing director in charge of the firm's investment strategy.
David joins Palamon's pan-European team, based in London, from Allstate Investments, where he spent seven years. His recently held positions include global strategist and head of the London office.
Prior to joining Allstate, David was a senior portfolio manager at Northwestern Investment Management Company, following a 10-year career in derivatives research and trading roles.
David graduated from Harvard University with a degree in American history and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
