TA promotes three in London
TA Associates has promoted Birker Bahnsen and Morgan Seigler (pictured) to director, as well as Lovisa Lander to vice president, in its London office.
Both Bahnsen and Seigler have been promoted from the role of principal. Bahnsen focuses on the European healthcare sector as well as cross-sector Scandinavian companies. He previously worked as an associate director in the healthcare private equity division of HgCapital and as an associate in the healthcare global investment research unit of Goldman Sachs.
Bahnsen has led several investments for the firm including Amann Girrbach, an Austrian manufacturer of dental reconstruction equipment, and Swedish independent school operator Internationalla Engelska Skolan (IES). He sits on the boards of directors for Amann Girrbach, IES and MIS Implants.
Seigler focuses on investments in the European technology industry and led TA's investments in Cmosis, a Belgian supplier of CMOS image sensors, and UK digital advertising company Flashtalking. He sits on the boards of Bigpoint, Cmosis and Flashtalking.
Prior to joining TA, Seigler worked at Viking Global Investors, Morgan Stanley and Raymond James.
Lander has been promoted from senior associate. She focuses on investments in UK and Scandinavian companies as well as the consumer industry across the whole of Europe. She currently serves as a board observer for Cath Kidston and IES.
Lander previously worked in the consumer products and retail unit of the investment banking division at Rothschild.
