
Travers Smith appoints senior partner
UK law firm Travers Smith has promoted Chris Hale, currently head of corporate, to senior partner.
The promotion will be effective on 1 July 2013. Hale is succeeding Chris Carroll, who will continue to work for the firm in an international consultancy role.
Hale has been a partner at the firm since 1987 and head of corporate since 2003. He will be succeeded as head of corporate by Spencer Summerfield, who trained with Travers Smith and became a partner in 1997.
