DFJ Esprit appoints Peter Keen as venture partner

Keen co-founded Chiroscience Group, after which he helped establish the venture capital firm Merlin Biosciences. On leaving Merlin, he became chief financial officer of pharmaceutical company Arakis.

Keen is currently a non-executive director of Horizon Discovery and Q-Chip, chairman at Oval Medical Technologies, senior independent director at Abcam and a non-executive director of Ark Therapeutics Group and the Biotech Growth Trust.
