
Baruk Pilo joins Icon as M&A senior vice president
Icon Corporate Finance has appointed Baruk Pilo as new senior vice president of M&A.
Pilo will focus on transactions in the financial technology, security, mobile, cloud, enterprise software, storage and communication networks sectors.
Pilo joins from Vadis Ventures, where he had been head of European activity since 2007.
Pilo previously advised on transactions including the sales of Danish mobile IP billing company Digiquant to InTec for $73m and French Internet company Wengo to Vivendi.
Pilo worked at Cisco Systems in Europe from 2000 until 2006, where he was head of corporate M&A and investments. He also managed Cisco's fund-of-funds investments in Index Ventures, Viviventures and Kiwi Ventures.
Prior to this, he was responsible for network manufacturers and strategies for new technologies in the EMEA telecommunications group at Oracle.
