Isis Equity Partners to rebrand
Isis Equity Partners has announced its intention to rebrand given current events in Iraq and Syria.
The business is seeking to distance itself from any association with terrorist organisation ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), which is now known as IS (Islamic State).
A new brand is yet to be decided, though is expected in the coming weeks.
Isis Equity Partners began investing in 1995 and currently has funds under management worth £1.3bn. The firm focuses on UK-based businesses valued at £5-100m, with capital commitments ranging from £2-40m.
Earlier this month, the GP injected £9.9m into card processing company CR7 to support the acquisition of 123Send, a London-based provider of point-of-sale terminals.
