Howson joins Investec's corporate lending team
Investec has appointed Tim Howson to its corporate lending business.
Howson joins the specialist corporate capital team, headed up by Callum Bell. The team originates, structures and arranges finance for financial sponsors and corporate clients with an enterprise value of £100-500m.
The new hire joins from Jefferies & Co, where he was senior vice president in the leveraged finance team. He was responsible for the origination and execution of leveraged loan and high-yield bond financings.
Howson also worked on refinancing deals across western Europe, CEE and MENA. Prior to that, he worked on the leveraged finance team at UBS Investment Bank and the mid-market leveraged finance team at Barclays.
