New board chairman for Canter
Private equity firm Canter has hired buyout practitioner Trevor Bayley as chairman of its investment committee and board.
Bayley was previously deputy chairman of Hg Capital's investment committee and led the establishment of a mid-market buyout team in Germany. He also headed the company's services sector investment team.
Bayley said he is pleased with his new appointment and is looking forward to once again working in the small buyout market where capital is in short supply.
