
Investcorp in £16m OpSec PIPE
Investcorp Technology Partners has received approval from shareholders to purchase a 29.8% stake in AIM-listed OpSec Security Group plc. Investcorp Technology is the technology private equity arm of alternative investment manager Investcorp.
OpSec is a maker of anti-counterfeiting protection technologies and services.
Investcorp's investment includes a £7.6m subscription for newly issued preference shares and common equity, as well as a $13m shareholder note to fully refinance the company's outstanding bank loan facilities.
