FRP expands with debt advisory partners
FRP Advisory has acquired Litmus Advisory, adding debt advisory partners Dave Edwards, Andy Dimmock and Nick Grainger to the FRP team.
The new partners will be based in FRP's London office and will continue to provide advice for a range of borrowers across the UK, US and other European countries on the structuring of debt facilities.
Their experience in debt finance advisory has been mainly in the food, retail, consumer, engineering, manufacturing and professional services verticals.
Edwards founded Litmus in 2004 and has owned the firm ever since. He started in the industry with Credit Factoring International in 1988, running its southern sales team from 1995. In 2000, he was hired by GE Capital to launch their big ticket asset-based lending offering in the UK.
After working for six years in the leasing industry, Dimmock joined International Factors in 1993. In 1997, he moved to GE Capital to work on the all-asset-based lending market in the UK and also established GE's operations in the Midlands. Dimmock was hired by Litmus as a director in 2004, where he was mainly responsible for the structuring and due diligence aspects of the firm's transactions.
Grainger held senior positions with LloydsTSB, NM Rothschild and, more recently, GMAC Commercial Finance. He also worked for a syndicate of Scandinavian banks in 2003 to lead and control a managed work-out of a distressed asset-based lending portfolio. Grainger joined Litmus as a director in 2005, with responsibilities for structuring and optimising lender terms.
