Duke Street's Kennedy joins Teachers
Ontario Teachersт Pension Plan has appointed former Duke Street partner Iain Kennedy as a director in its Teachersт Private Capital team.
Kennedy worked at Duke Street for 16 years and was a partner for the last 11. He was also a member of the firm's investment committee. Notable deals worked on while at Duke Street include Xafinity, Marlin, Payzone, Parabis and Baywater.
Kennedy left Duke Street in July 2013 and took on the role of interim head of M&A at Survitec Group for five months before joining Teachers this month.
Prior to joining Duke Street, Kennedy worked at PwC and Gresham Private Equity.
Kennedy graduated from Oxford University with an MA in politics, philosophy and economics, and is also a qualified chartered accountant.
