Lyceum hires operations partner

Lyceum Capital has hired Geoff Neville as partner for its operations and development team.
In his new role, Neville will work with the firm's portfolio companies to execute value-creation strategies.
His appointment is the first of two new partner-level hires to Lyceum's operations and development team, according to the firm, with the second to be announced later in the year.
Neville was formerly senior vice president at Atos from 2011–2014. Prior to that, he worked as director of transport and local and devolved government at Fujitsu from 2007–2009. In addition, he was previously managing director of Viridian-owned SX3 from 2003–2005, head of UK and Asia Pacific at CMG from 2000–2003 and CEO of Admiral until 2000, which he joined in 1984.
Last month, Lyceum sold Access Technology Group, a UK provider of management software, to TA Associates in a deal that reportedly valued the company at £225m. The firm had acquired the business in March 2011 for £50m, using capital from its Lyceum Capital Partners II fund.
