Bullock appointed new chair of Finance Wales
Welsh government-backed growth investor Finance Wales has appointed Gareth Bullock as chair from 1 October, replacing Ian Johnson who leaves after seven years in the position.
Bullock has a 30-year career in the financial sector, and was most recently the group executive director of Standard Chartered, a position he held from 1996 to 2010.
He currently holds non-executive directorships and advisory roles with Informa, Tesco Bank, Good Governance Group, Global Market Group and British Council.
Earlier this month, Finance Wales joined Pentax Medical in an $8.45m investment round for Welsh medical devices maker Creo Medical.
