Terra Firma denies plans to float Infinis (update)
Terra Firma has met banks to discuss a potential ТЃ1bn IPO for its energy portfolio company Infinis.
According to a source close to the situation, the meetings were initiated by the banks and not Terra Firma. Contrary to what was reported in unquote" and other publications this morning, Terra Firma is not considering a sale for the time being.
The firm recently acquired Four Seasons and The Garden Centre Group for a total of £1.1bn, wrapping up its third fund.
Infinis is a renewable power generator and was acquired with the GP's second fund for €122m in 2003. The company recently acquired three UK-based wind farms from Broadview Energy Limited.
Infinis posted a £191.4m turnover and a £100m EBITDA in its latest accounts.
