BLP's PE head joins Jones Day
Law firm Jones Day has appointed Raymond McKeeve as a partner and member of the firmтs private equity practice.
The new hire joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP), where he was a corporate finance partner and global head of the firm's private equity practice. He spent four years at the firm, having been involved in transactions including Cinven's acquisition of pharmaceutical firm Mercury Pharma from HgCapital for £465m.
Before joining BLP, McKeeve spent a year working as an investment professional for property investor Robert Tchenguiz. Prior to that, he spent two years at Kirkland & Ellis, which he joined from Linklaters.
McKeeve will join Jones Day's London office, where he will work alongside Adam Greaves, head of the firm's private equity practice.
McKeeve has experience advising private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds and portfolio companies in domestic and international markets including MENA and sub-Saharan Africa. He has also worked with alternative credit providers and lenders across all areas of corporate practice.
