
Brown joins Palatine as investment manager
Rupert Brown has been appointed as investment manager at Palatine Private Equityтs London office.
In his new role, he will work on increasing the investment capacities of the southern team, working alongside partner Tony Dickin and investment director Andy Strickland.
In Q3 last year, Palatine announced the closing of its third fund on its £220m hard-cap. The GP recruited Brown to assist with the investment of the fund.
Brown joins from NBGI Private Equity, where he spent four years in the UK investment team. The acquisitions he worked on include oil and gas equipment services business ATR Group in 2012 and care provider Horizon Care in 2013.
He started his career at PwC from 2005 until 2011, where his latest role was senior associate.
Palatine typically invests between £10-30m. The GP has offices in Manchester and London and recently launched in Birmingham.
