MMC hires new investment manager

Dolan joins MMC following a stint at Bain & Co as a case team leader specialising in financial technology.

In her new role at MMC, Dolan will source and execute new deals for the firm, as well as execute follow-on funding rounds for MMC's portfolio companies.

Alongside the hire of Dolan, MMC has also announced the appointment of Anna Slemmings as marketing manager.

MMC has been focusing its investments on the e-commerce space recently. At the end of September, the firm injected £1m into UK-based "home swap" holiday planning platform Love Home Swap.

Prior to this, MMC backed Cheshire-based Tyres On The Drive, a mobile tyre-fitting service, alongside Enterprise Ventures Group. The two firms invested £1.5m in the company at the beginning of September.

MMC has also recently invested in London-based Boticca, an e-commerce site for luxury fashion accessories, providing £2.5m alongside Isai and several high-net-worth individuals in September.
