Inflexion appoints new partner

Inflexion Private Equity has promoted Richard Swann from investment director to partner.
Swann joined the firm in 2008, after three years at Lloyds Development Capital. He has notably led Inflexion's investments in Rhead Group, Phlexglobal, National Accident Helpline and FDM Group.
Swann started his career at accountancy firm Andersen in 1988, was promoted to partner and stayed with the company until its demise in 2002, after which he transferred to Deloitte.
The mid-cap GP recently reaped a multiple in excess of 3.1x on the sale of Harrington Brooks to RJD Partners. Earlier in June, it backed the MBO of CTC Aviation and acquired Marston Group from Gresham.
