Lonsdale hires investment director
Lonsdale Capital Partners has appointed James Knott as an investment director, coming from a similar position at Risk Capital Partners.
Knott was previously an investment manager at Risk Capital Partners, which he joined in 2013.
Knott's stint at Risk Capital was preceded by time with Catalyst Corporate Finance, where he advised on MBOs, fundraising, company acquisitions and disposals.
Prior to making the move into the private equity sphere, he worked as a chartered accountant at PwC focusing on audit, assurance and transactions services.
Lonsdale said Knott's appointment reflects the GP's expectation of a busy 2015 and the resulting need to increase the firm's capacity.
