Fried Frank hires private equity partner for London
Law firm Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson has hired Daniel Oates as a partner in its London private equity practice.
Oates joins Fried Frank from O'Melveny & Myers, where he worked as a partner and head of mergers and acquisitions in the firm's London office. Prior to joining O'Melveny, Oates worked as a partner at Kirkland & Ellis.
In his new role, Oates will advise private equity and corporate clients on leveraged buyouts, divestments, take-privates and IPOs.
Fried Frank's European private equity practice is headed by Graham White, a managing partner in the firm's London office.
