Deutsche AWM hires HarbourVest's Siniscalco
Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (Deutsche AWM) has appointed Claudio Siniscalco to its private equity and private markets division in London.
Siniscalco has been given the role of managing director and global co-head of co-investments.
In his newly-created role at Deutsche AWM, Siniscalco will work alongside co-head Francesco Rigamonti. His responsibilities will include sourcing and executing investment opportunities for private equity mandates.
He will also head up the asset manager's platform for private investments in wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth clients. He will report to Deutsche AWM's global head of private equity, Carlo Pirzio-Biroli.
Siniscalco joins the asset manager from his role of principal and co-head of the London direct investment team at HarbourVest Partners. His responsibilities at the firm included sourcing, executing and monitoring EMEA-based private equity co-investments.
Prior to HarbourVest, Siniscalco worked at Audley Capital, Investcorp and Hicks Muse.
