
NVM’s Northern VCTs hit £50m
The three Northern VCT funds, managed by NVM Private Equity, have reached their £50m combined target in less than four months.
The successful fundraise sees the Northern Venture Trust Fund and Northern 2 VCT collecting £15m each, while Northern 3 VCT has raised £20m.
The offerings received £22m from 1,270 existing shareholders in the Northern VCTs, and £28m from 1,130 new investors.
Demand for the offering was bolstered by the funds' recent performance; Northern Venture Trust, Northern 2 VCT and Northern 3 VCT achieved total returns of 15.3%, 13.3% and 13.4% respectively for the 12 months ending 30 September 2012.
