
YFM opens £30m VCT fundraise
YFM Equity Partners has opened a £30m fundraise for its British Smaller Companies VCT funds.
The funds will invest in companies operating in the manufacturing, retail, business services, software, IT and healthcare sectors. It will write cheques of up to £10m for each investment, typically taking a minority stake in return.
The minimum investment for the offer is £6,000 across both VCTs and tax years. The maximum ticket is £200,000.
The fundraising launch comes one year after YFM gained independence from GLE Group. At the time of the spinout, YFM launched a new private equity vehicle and was seeking £20m for its British Smaller Companies VCT funds.
