As COO, Slattery joins Catalyst's senior management team, taking responsibility for the company's day-to-day operations.
Slattery was finance director at Bedfordia Automotive, which owned three BMW/Mini franchises, until the business was sold to US-based car firm Group 1 Automotive in December 2014.
Before joining Bedfordia, Slattery worked at Syter Group, another group of car dealerships, for eight years.
Catalyst advises on company acquisitions and sales, management buyouts and buy-ins and on raising capital.
In June 2015, the firm provided corporate finance advice to Synova Capital when it backed the MBO of UK-based 4Ways Healthcare, a provider of teleradiology services.
