Altium’s Fuller promoted to head of London office

Altium Capital has promoted managing director and head of consumer Sam Fuller to lead its London office.
Fuller's promotion comes almost 15 years after he joined Altium in September 2000. He has been responsible for mandates in the leisure, retail and e-commerce markets, both within the public and private sectors.
These include the £1.9bn sale of UK-based fashion retailer New Look to Brait, which acquired a 90% stake in the business.
He also worked on corporate finance matters as part of the £303.7m take-private of UK restaurant chain Prezzo. Announced in November 2014, the acquisition was completed in January 2015, when 79.98% of the company's shareholders voted in favour of the 126.5 pence price per share.
According to Altium, the firm carried out 50 transactions in 2014. Its 20-strong London team advised on the purchase of UK retailer sofa.com by CBPE Capital and the refinancing of travel operator Scott Dunn, among other deals.
