
Palamon appoints Körber to board of advisers

Palamon Capital Partners has appointed Hans-Joachim Körber to its board of advisers.
In his new position he will provide counsel to the firm and use his expertise and insight on target investment markets and business sectors relevant to Palamon's focus.
Körber previously worked with Palamon when he was a member of the board of Palamon's portfolio company Loyalty Partner.
Currently he is a member at the board of Air Berlin and chairman of clothing manufacturer Esprit Holdings.
Körber started his career at Oetker Group where he specialised in IT, logistics, communications and retail. In 1985 he joined retail chain Metro and continued to work for a number of different group companies in Germany and overseas.
After joining the company's management board in 1996, he then acted as Metro's president and CEO between 1999 and 2007.
