UK private client firm Connection Capital has appointed Robert Clarke as head of its investment committee and Julian Carr as investment director in the private equity team.
The appointments were made as part of the firm's growth strategy.

Carr has worked in the industry for 16 years and has held senior positions with Lloyds Development Capital, Bridgepoint (then Natwest Ventures) and HgCapital (then Mercury Asset Management).
