LGV’s Priestley joins Electra

Following his recent departure from LGV Capital, Bill Priestley has joined Electra Partners as a partner.
Priestley spent 10 years with LGV, which went into wind-down last year following parent company Legal & General's decision to focus on core business activities. Priestley was named managing director last year alongside Michael Mowlem, after former boss Ivan Heywood retired.
In his new role, Priestley will work alongside Electra's chief investment partner Alex Fortescue and the investment team to deploy Electra's £450m of dry powder.
Prior to his time at LGV, where he worked on deals including Amber Taverns and South Lakeland Parks (now owned by Electra), Priestley worked at NM Rothschild and Barclays Bank.
