
Impetus Trust and Private Equity Foundation to merge
UK charities Impetus Trust and Private Equity Foundation (PEF) are merging to create a new charity with greater reach.
Upon completion, the merged charity will continue to support disadvantaged young people and children. The organisation is dedicated to providing education and skills to enable people to live their lives independently.
Johannes Huth will serve as chairman of the new charity, with Louis Elson as deputy chairman. Daniela Barone Soares, current CEO of Impetus, will be CEO of the merged entity.
The merger is expected to complete in spring 2013.
