Palatine's head of portfolio Donaldson steps down
Palatine Private Equity head of portfolio Steve Donaldson left the firm last month for an industry role.
Donaldson joined Palatine in mid-March 2012, and stayed for 16 months before becoming director of Music Magpie in July, according to a Palatine spokesperson. Palatine is currently looking for his replacement.
Donaldson became acquainted with Palatine when Card Warehouse Group, where he was finance director, was bought by Murray Johnstone in a deal led by Palatine partners Tipper and Fazakerley.
He started his career in corporate finance at Deloitte and BDO Binder Hamlyn, before moving on to become finance director at HgCapital-backed Americana.
