Cavendish promotes Cummins, appoints three
Cavendish Corporate Finance has promoted Anya Cummins to partner and has appointed Parit Patel, Duncan McKinlay and Marco Zamblera as corporate finance executives.
Cummins joined Cavendish in 2011 as an associate director; she was then named director in January 2013 and her latest promotion makes her the firm's 12th partner. She was previously with Deloitte where she qualified as a chartered accountant.
Notable deals that Cummins has worked on include Theo Paphitis's acquisition of Robert Dyas and the $100m sale of Raleigh Cycle to Accell Group.
Patel joins Cavendish's financial services team from the financial institutions group at Cannacord Genuity, where he worked as an investment banking analyst in M&A transactions.
McKinlay joins from Southern Capital Limited, a New Zealand-based investment company. He previously worked in corporate finance for Air New Zealand. He has an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Zamblera joins from KPMG where he was a corporate finance associate. Prior to that, he was an audit assistant manager at KPMG. He began his career in 2008 as a senior manager for Bushell Investment Group Business Services (previously Guardian Jewellery), where he managed the business through the early stages of its start-up.
