LPFA appoints Vandersluis
The London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) has appointed Robert Vandersluis, GlaxoSmithKlineтs (GSK) director of global pension investments, as non-executive director.
At GSK, Vandersluis managed a derivatives and investment portfolio, and advises GSK's trustees for pension funds in Europe, the US and Japan.
Vandersluis has previously held senior positions at Affinity Sutton Group and Ford Credit Europe Bank. He has also served on the boards of The Pensions Trust.
Vandersluis's appointment comes as Michael Cassidy retires from the board, following the completion of his second term.
