Rutland hires ex-Deloitte executive
Turnaround investor Rutland Partners has hired James Barrington-Wells as an investment executive.
Barrington-Wells qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in 2009 and worked in the firm's audit and corporate finance divisions for three years, on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
He is the second investment executive to join Rutland from an advisory firm this summer, following the appointment of ex-Hawkpoint Partners Michael Reynolds in July.
Rutland has been active on the exit side in August: the firm reaped a 1.5x multiple on the sale of branded goods provider Pulse Home Products to Jarden Corporation and sold ATM business NoteMachine to Corsair Capital.
