Cavendish's Stelzer promoted to managing partner
Cavendish Corporate Finance has promoted its chief operating officer Joe Stelzer to managing partner.
Stelzer's new role will see him working closely with Cavendish co-founder and senior partner Howard Leigh. His responsibilities at the firm will now include recruitment, IT, training and marketing, as well as being closely involved in transactions. He specialises in the technology and industrial sectors, as well as family-owned businesses.
Stelzer joined London-based Cavendish in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, he set up M&A advisory firm Silver Cloud Capital in 2008 to offer advice to industrial technology businesses.
Stelzer established Silver Cloud following his departure from Cooper Industries, where he acted as global head of the Cooper Controls unit and vice president of Cooper Lighting.
For the remainder of Q1 2014, Stelzer will focus his efforts on bolstering Cavendish's business services team at a senior level.
