Wifa joins Willkie Farr & Gallagher
Solomon Wifa, a former partner at O’Melveny & Myers, has joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher as a partner in its London office.
Wifa joined O'Melveny & Myers in 2004 as managing partner of the firm's London office. He was previously with King & Wood Mallesons (then SJ Berwin), where he began his career in 1997.
In his new role, Wifa will be working with Peter Burrell, head of Willkie's London office. According to Burrell, the firm is focused on continuing the expansion of its London office as clients increasingly need a combination of US and UK knowledge.
Wifa is co-chair of the African Venture Capital Association's legal and regulatory committee and a member of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association's legal and regulatory council.
