Caledonia hires associate director for unquoted division
Caledonia Investments has hired Sally Flanagan as associate director of its private equity and venture capital pool.
Flanagan joins from Permira, where she was global head of the firm's healthcare division. In her new role she will be responsible for co-ordinating the management of Caledonia's unquoted portfolio and report to Duncan Johnson, head of unquoted investments.
Caledonia is an investment trust listed on the London Stock Exchange. The company has a portfolio of international quoted, unquoted and fund investments with net assets of approximately £1.1bn. As a private equity house, the firm typically invests £20-50m in private companies, taking majority or minority stakes.
