GI Partners' Millet joins Montagu as investment director
Jonathan Millet, a former director at GI Partners, has been recruited by mid-market house Montagu Private Equity as investment director.
Millet's career in investment banking began at Rothschild, where he worked between 2006 and 2007 before joining the Carlyle Group as senior associate.
In 2010, he was recruited by GI Partners before leaving the firm in May 2015. As a director in the GP's healthcare team, he focused on sourcing and carrying out investments including Cambian Group, where he was a board director.
The appointment of Millet, who is also a trustee at London-based charity Age UK, comes one week after Montagu announced it had acquired Danish property management service DEAS Holding from pension funds PKA and Sampension. Drawing equity from its fourth fund, Montagu revealed to unquote" it had been tracking DEAS for a few years ahead of the transaction.
