Candover to sell-off Equity Trust
Candover is rumoured to be in talks with Doughty Hanson to sell its Equity Trust portfolio company.
Equity Trust is thought to be worth up to £300m, and would mark Candover's second major disposal in recent months, after it sold Belgian nappy maker Ontex for almost £1bn.
The news comes as listed entity Candover Investments announced it will be winding down its business, selling off its remaining assets to return cash to investors.
