Lebus replaces Armitage as LPEQ chairman
Andrew Lebus, senior director of Pantheon Ventures, has been appointed chairman of the Listed Private Equity association (LPEQ), replacing former HgCapital boss Ian Armitage.
Lebus is a founding board member of LPEQ and will be the second chairman in its seven year history.
In his new capacity, Lebus is charged with building positive investor sentiment in order to raise awareness and understanding of accessing the asset class through the stock market. He will also look to encourage more listed private equity firms to support LPEQ's efforts.
The LPEQ chairmanship will now become a two-year position, with successors chosen by the LPEQ board and approved by members.
