LDC backs Computer Recognition Systems
LDC has bought UK traffic management company, Computer Recognition Systems (CRS), as a bolt-on to Vysionic, the portfolio company it set up in February this year.
Vysionic was created as an acquisition platform in the traffic management sector, and started its buying spree with the purchase of Speed Check Services in March.
CRS, provides traffic surveillance systems, which includes Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) software and hardware.
The deal will see founder Bill Adaway fully exit CRS, although he will continue to work as a technical consultant for the company.
