Foresight hires Alvarez for Manchester office
Following the first close of its regional fund, Foresight has appointed Claire Alvarez as senior investment manager in its newly opened Manchester office.
Alvarez represents the first hire for Foresight's Manchester office, with the firm having reached a first close on £38m for its Foresight Regional Fund earlier this year.
Alvarez joins from Deloitte's Manchester practice where she worked for six years, most recently advising banks and company directors in distressed situations. She began her career with KPMG and then moved onto Altium Capital before joining Deloitte.
In her new role, Alvarez will work alongside Foresight partner James Livingston in managing the regional investment fund, which targets investments of between £1-5m.
