BGF hires Mike Clark in Leeds

Business Growth Fund (BGF) has hired Mike Clarke for its investment team in Leeds, which covers investments in northern England.
Clarke joins from corporate finance firm BDO, where he worked for eight years prior to joining BGF. The hire forms part of the growth investor's push to expand its presence in the north of England.
Clarke's appointment comes just two months after BGF hired two new professionals for its investment teams in Leeds and Manchester.
BGF's Leeds team recently completed the firm's first investment in Northern Ireland, investing in Derry-headquartered housebuilder Braidwater.
