Better Capital in joint venture with NPRF
Better Capital and the National Pensions Reserve Fund of Ireland (NPRF) have agreed to join forces and create a тЌ100m turnaround fund to invest in distressed Irish businesses.
NPRF committed €50m to the vehicle – funding will be provided on a deal-by-deal basis. Better Capital's 2012 Fund will commit at least 51% to each investment with NPRF providing the remainder.
The joint venture will be operated through Better Capital (Ireland) LP, a new Guernsey limited partnership managed by the GP of Better Capital's 2012 Fund, BECAP12 GP LP. Better Capital will set up a dedicated office in Dublin.
