
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett appoints partner
Private equity specialist Jason Glover will join the law firm as a partner in its London office.
Glover's practice will focus on private fund formation, particularly private equity funds. He joins from Clifford Chance, where he held a similar position as partner in the Global Private Funds practice.
Before joining Clifford Chance in 1998, Glover spent three years working in the private equity industry. As operations director for AIFAL, he was responsible for the day-to-day operational management for several funds, including the $780m Asian Infrastructure Fund.
