
HIG hires Giuseppe Mirante as managing director
Private equity house HIG Capital has appointed Giuseppe Mirante as managing director at its credit investment arm, Bayside Capital.
Mirante will join as managing director in the London-based Bayside Capital team. The subsidiary focuses on mid-market companies, investing in the primary and secondary debt market.
Prior to this role, Mirante worked as head of distressed credit and loan research at BNP Paribas in London. Previously he was European credit and distressed analyst at Cyrus Capital and senior analyst at Trafalgar Asset Managers. He also co-founded Tigon Capital, an advisory company for private equity and distressed debt funds.
