Partner promotions at Pantheon
Pantheon Ventures has promoted Matthew Jones, Laurence Jonkler, Kathryn Leaf Wilmes, and Brian Lim to partner.
Laurence Jonkler, based in London and responsible for client service and business development, joined Pantheon in 2004. He has previously worked for the Institutional Business Team at AXA Investment Managers and as market executive at F&C Asset Management. Jonkler holds a BA in Politics from the University of Exeter.
Matthew Jones is based in New York and works with deal origination, analysis, structuring, execution, and management of the firm's secondary funds. He joined Pantheon in 2001 from the position of assistant economist in the finance, regulation, and industry department at HM Treasury. Jones holds a BA in Economics and Politics from Leeds University.
Additionally, San Francisco-based Kathryn Leaf Wilmes and Hong Kong-based Brian Lim have been promoted to partner. They joined Pantheon in 2008-2009 and are heads of infrastructure investments and emerging markets, respectively.
