Dunedin refocuses trust for direct investments
Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust has voted to change its focus to direct buyout investments, rather than third party funds.
The trust is refocusing its investments on Dunedin Capital Partners' areas of expertise. The fund will now focus on buyouts in the UK lower mid-market.
The trust will refrain from making further commitments to other private equity funds, but will meet its existing obligations with third party funds.
Dunedin raised its last fund, Dunedin Buyout Fund II, between June and October 2006. It closed oversubscribed by £50m on £250m. Typically, Dunedin's investments range from £20-75m.
